Climbed Owens Peak recently with some friends of mine.
I'm on the left, in the middle is Chris and Brooke. On the right is AJ.
Dome Wilderness is behind me (I think).
There's an ammo can on top of this mountain with notebooks sealed in plastic bags inside it.
These notebooks contain entries by anyone who's gone up and cares to jot something down in it.
I founded entries going back to at least the 60's.
Kinda cool. I guess that's a common tradition for all the bigger mountains in (at least) this area.
